Bonus layout

Here is the bonus layout from club night, using the timepiece paper. You should heve enough paper to do a layout similar the this one if you choose. Have fun with it. And if you do get another done at home, be sure to bring it to July's club and share it with us.

May's Club Layout

Here is the second layout for our May club night. I just love this paper line as well. We will be making the flowers in the bottom right corner as well. I am having a lot of fun learning to make my own flowers.

And finally, my layout for May's club.

This Bo bunny line-Timepieces, is one of my favorite 'fancy' paper lines. The left side will be the back side of our March layout with the 6 pockets. Everyone's flowers will be a bit different, and we will be making the large brown flower in the corner. This will be our most expensive kit so far, but you will have plenty of extra parts to do many more future layouts. Stacey and I will both be posting all the additional layouts we have done or will do so you can scraplift any that you want. See you on Wednesday!

My 'work in progress'.

This payout is not finished, but I thought I would share it while I'm on a roll. I am using the new Little Yellow Bicycle line called Elizabeth Park. It is such a cute line!!

More layouts

And here's what I did with part of Carrie's February kit and my leftover's from April!!!

Club layouts! Or some adapted version of them!?!

These were Carrie's layouts from April, I still need a title on the pink one.

Amazing Scrapbooking Weekend

Hello everyone. I see it has been quite a while since we have updated our blog. Last weekend we were off to Edmonton for a retailers event with our wholesale company. What a great weekend we had. Got to see lots of new products that will be coming out in the next few months as well as attending some scrapbooking classes all weekend. But the best part of the weekend was getting to meet one of our favorite artists/crafter/scrapbboker..... Tim Holtz. He did a class for us on both Saturday and Sunday with his products as well as Ranger Inks. He is an amazing teacher. It was a lot of fun and we left with 4 completed tags and lots of new techniques and products. I would have to say my favorite new product is going to be the distress stains which will be available soon.

We did get to see lots of other great products that I think will become our favorite as well as yours. Some from companies like Bazzill, BoBunny and We are Memory Keepers. So look for them to be coming to the store soon.

My Latest Project

I just finished this great home decor project. An advent calendar. Yes, I do know Christmas is a long way off, but I just loved this great Kaiser Kraft product when we found it. I decided to make one for each of my kids and two nieces. So here is number 1. This product is available through the store by special order and they come unpainted for you to choose your own color. I just love the way this one turned out. The santa paper in the middle is by Graphic 45.

New link

On the right side under Favorite Sites, I have added the Stampavie design team blog. I am in love with these stamps and the cards the team makes. They are amazing and are always throwing out different challenges. The best part is that we can now get these stamps through our wholesaler!!!! Yippee!!!

What a fun weekend

We just got back last night from a few days in Calgary for our spring Scrapbook Convention. It was so much fun and we learned some new things and had lots of laughs. Went and saw the movie Bounty Hunter on Friday night and it was pretty funny. We have some new samples in the store that we did with companies such as Bobunny and Fancy Pants. Hopefully we will be having an open house day this month or early next in May and you can take a look. Jackie.

More new stuff and our next challenge

We have gotten in a few orders in the last week and they are all really great. So, if you are in the mood to scrap please give me a call. We got in some of the new BoBunny class kits and paper, as well as many new Tattered Angel Mists.
We have a winner for our March challenge....Michelle. I will be getting her a $5 store credit as well as next months challenge kit. Remember...all you have to do is a simple card or project to be included in the draw. I should have kits ready by the end of the week for anyone interested.
We will also be taking orders for Copic markers which you can check out on youtube. They are really fun to work with to color any stamped image. I was a bit intimidated to begin with, but have found it really easy to get the hang of and it is now a really quick project.

NEW PRODUCT

Well, we are back again. CHA is over and we are able to pre-order all of the new and exciting products available. Tim Holtz, Little Yellow Bicycle, 7 Gypsies and Tattered Angels are just a few of the companies that have some great new products coming out. We are also adding new companies to the list as well. One of my favorites is the Copic Sketch Markers which will be available by special order. As well we will be able to carry Stampavie stamps which are great to use with the copic markers. Here is a sample of a card I did using copic markers and a Stampavie stamp. Also I cut out the picture with a spellbinders nestability template.

Happy New Year!!!

Wow!! Another year gone by. Where does the time go? We hope that everyone had a safe and happy holiday. With the New year come many resolutions. I don't set many myself, but I know Jackie and I have talked a lot about keeping the blog active and that is one of my resolutions this year. I would also like to get more of my own projects done this year. With that said here is a photo of a mini album that I started. It is a Fancy pants mixed media book. Looks like it will be interesting to do. I will post more pages as I get it done. If you have set any resolutions, post a comment and let us know. We will have a random draw on January 15 for a small prize. The more comments we get the bigger the prize may get.
Also watch for the next kit challenge to come out. We still need to draw for December' challenge, so if you bought a kit and did something with it, please let us know. We have heard from one person.

Long time...no posts!!!

Sorry ladies, it has been awhile since we posted any new info, so here goes.
Lots of stuff going on these days with school activities/hockey/4H, etc.
We will be running a Scrap Club starting in Jan/Feb for anyone interested.
We will have projects every month and hope to run with Carrie and Dri through CTMH. If you or anyone you know may be interested in joining please let Stacey or I know as we do have space available. If you are not interested in joining for the year, but may be interested in doing some of the projects on your own, we would be more than happy to make up extra kits containing all you would need to finish your own at home. We will also try to have a few crop nights/days beginning in the new year. If you have any requests or suggestions for us we would love to hear them. Stampin up has a great sale going on at their site right now and we will be placing an order Nov30 so please check it out and let us know if there is anything you want. Also, we can do gift cards for Christmas through Stampin up or Barnyard Scrappin' so if you have anyone on your list or if you would like one yourself please let us know. We will also have a Barnyard order going in this weekend for some Kaisercraft advent calendars. They are really neat and we hoped to have them by now, but I suppose if I get mine now it may be done by next Christmas!?! Check them out on Kaisercrafts website and let us know if you would be interested in ordering one or more(I'm getting 4). I also have two more kits left for our december challenge, so let me know if you want one. We are looking into having an open house day in December, just not sure when will work for both Stacey and I, so we will let you know. Anyway, enough of my chit chat, hopefully I got out all the info I needed to and hopefully we can get bloggin a little more.

Summer Mini Album

Check out the new mini album kit available in the store. I just finished mine and it is so cute. It uses the BoBunny my word arrow album and Mango Luau paper & stickers. Great for all your summer pictures! And there is lots of paper left over to do a layout as well.
